The Babolat SFX 4 is made for players who prioritize comfort without compromising on stability and performance, whether you play tennis or padel. With its wide fit and extra heel support, the shoe truly delivers a Superior Fit eXperience, just as the name suggests.

The padded tongue, ventilated upper, and extra-thick Ortholite insole ensure outstanding comfort even during long and demanding training sessions or matches. At the same time, the Extra Cushion technology provides effective shock absorption, protecting both feet and joints.

To support safe and confident movement, the shoe is designed with a “bucket seat” construction and internal straps around the midfoot that hold the foot securely in place, allowing you to move explosively in all directions.

Note: We recommend choosing half a size to one size smaller than your normal shoe size.

Technologies in Babolat SFX 4

EXTRA CUSH combines heel support and rocker geometry with a consistent thickness of EVA foam under the heel to ensure progressive and effective shock absorption – no matter how you land.

LARGE FIT is designed with extra width in the forefoot, making it ideal for players with wide feet – or those with normal foot width who simply want additional comfort.

Lateral Support uses three straps to stabilize the midfoot and provide support during fast lateral movements.

Forefoot Support places the forefoot in a “bucket seat”-like structure, delivering added stability during stops and quick changes of direction.

Ortholite® Insole is the thickest insole in Babolat’s range – 60% thicker than in the Propulse Fury 3. Molded to the shape of the foot, it is made with 20% recycled foam.

Michelin Outsole is made from a durable rubber compound developed with Michelin, ensuring excellent grip and long-lasting performance on both tennis and padel courts.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel shoes

1. Let your shoes dry completely after use

Let your shoes dry naturally after use, and remove the insoles if possible. Avoid placing your shoes in direct sunlight or on a radiator, as this can reduce the durability of the materials. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid leaving them in a closed sports bag for long periods, as moisture and heat can damage the materials and cause unpleasant odours.

2. Clean your shoes regularly

Remove dust and dirt after use by wiping your shoes with a damp cloth. You can also use a soft brush on the soles to remove sand and dirt, which would otherwise wear down the materials.

3. Only use your shoes for padel

Avoid wearing your shoes as everyday footwear or for other sports. The soles are designed for a specific surface, and using them on asphalt or other hard surfaces can significantly shorten their lifespan. Check the tread pattern and heel regularly. If they are worn down, the shoes lose grip and cushioning, which increases the risk of injury.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel shoes

1. Choose a shoe that suits the court surface

Padel courts vary in how much sand there is on the surface. The general condition of the court and the level of wear can also differ. These factors affect what you need from your footwear, so make sure to choose a shoe that matches the demands of the court. The right shoe helps you move better on court and gives you lasting comfort.

2. Play in high-quality socks

Invest in sports socks designed for padel. Good socks reduce friction, provide extra support and help keep your feet dry during play.

3. Extra cushioning? Consider insoles

If you play a lot, or simply want to reduce the risk of injury, consider upgrading your shoes with a good pair of insoles. They provide extra cushioning in the heel and reduce strain on your ankles, knees and back.
