Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 is built for the technically strong player with an offensive mindset and high demands on precision and power. In 2026, Babolat has significantly elevated the Technical Viper series, making this racket even firmer than previous Viper models.

Racket construction

Technical Viper 3.0 is developed with a new shape and an updated mould, which creates a larger sweetspot and moves it slightly lower in the racket compared to earlier versions. This delivers a more controlled ball contact without removing the racket’s explosive character. At the same time, the new central stabiliser in the bridge contributes to effective vibration damping, making the racket more arm-friendly than previous generations.

With a weight of 370 grams, a diamond-shaped head and a head-heavy balance, Technical Viper 3.0 is tailored for offensive play. The surface is constructed from stiff 3K carbon and combined with an integrated carbon plate in the centre of the racket, resulting in a very rigid and crisp feel. This places high demands on precision at ball contact, but when you hit the sweetspot, you are rewarded with extreme power and outstanding accuracy.

The rough surface provides clear grip on the ball, allowing you to work actively with spin in overheads and volleys. Overall, Technical Viper 3.0 is a racket for the advanced padel player who wants maximum performance and does not compromise on an aggressive playing style.

Technical Viper 3.0 vs Technical Viper 3.0 Soft and Technical Veron 3.0

Within the Technical 3.0 series, Technical Viper 3.0 is the most uncompromising and powerful racket. With its stiff 3K carbon surface, central carbon plate and a weight of 370 grams, it is aimed at technically strong players who consistently hit the sweetspot and want maximum power and precision. Compared with the Viper Soft and Veron models, it places higher demands on your game, but rewards clean contact with an extremely direct and explosive output.

Finally, it should be noted that the Technical Viper Lebron 3.0 is the firmest racket in the series, as the carbon plate in that model is harder than in the Technical Viper 3.0.

Technologies in Babolat Technical Viper 3.0

Holes Pattern System
The placement and size of the holes are optimised for the racket’s head shape, making energy transfer in the shot more efficient and precise.

X-EVA
The core is built with three layers of EVA foam, where the outer layers are stiffer for high power, while the inner layer contributes improved control and comfort in more delicate play.

Woven Carbon
The woven carbon surface ensures maximum precision and a very direct ball output, perfectly suited to high-intensity offensive play.

3D Spin
A rough and textured surface that improves grip on the ball and gives you better opportunities to generate spin in your shots.

Vibrasorb System
An integrated elastomer material in the heart of the racket reduces vibrations at impact and contributes to a more comfortable and controlled feel in the arm.

Smart Buttcap
Allows you to adjust or completely remove the wrist strap, so the racket can be adapted to your personal preferences.
