Adidas Metalbone 2026 Pro Edition is made for you if you want to put pressure on your opponent with an offensive playing style. The diamond-shaped head and head-heavy balance give the racket a clear offensive identity, so you can generate pace and weight behind shots more naturally such as smashes and viboras, when you want to put pressure on your opponent.

The hitting surface is built with Carbon Aluminized 16K, which gives a crisp, direct impact. You especially feel this in the shots where you want to hit hard and precisely at the same time. At the same time, the EVA Soft Performance core contributes a softer and more comfortable ball contact, so the racket does not simply feel hard, but also gives a stable feel when you need to keep the ball under control under pressure.

The frame construction is developed to keep the racket stable when you play aggressively. The Octagonal Structure, Power Groove and Structural Reinforcement technologies increase stiffness and make the racket more resistant to twisting. This gives you a more solid response at impact, especially when the pace is high and you want to hit through the ball without losing precision.

Extra Power Grip gives you a longer handle, which increases inertia in the swing. You can feel this in the overhead game, where you get a better basis for creating speed in smashes and other offensive shots. Spin Blade and Smart Holes Curve also work with the grip on the ball, so you can add spin to your shots more easily and connect more consistently with the sweetspot.

One of the strongest details in this model is the Weight & Balance System, which makes it possible to adjust the racket’s weight and balance. This gives you the freedom to adapt the racket, depending on whether you want to shift it even further toward power or find a setup that fits your own game.

The racket weighs 345-360 grams, has a balance of 285 mm, a 38 mm profile and a length of 455 mm.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
