The Oxdog Pure Tour padel racket is part of Oxdog's new 2025 range. The series is molded in a hybrid head shape, positioning it between all-round and control rackets.
The Oxdog Pure Tour is designed for a wide range of players, from intermediate to experienced padel players. The racket’s foam is medium-hard, and combined with the neutral weight distribution and hybrid shape, it offers great playability both defensively and offensively. It is particularly suited for two types of players: the modern control player who desires more power than a round head offers, or the all-round player who wants a racket more weighted towards control.
When comparing the Pure Tour to the Pure Pro+, the Tour has a more balanced weight distribution further down the head and is slightly lighter. This makes the Tour more maneuverable, while the Pro+ version offers greater weight transfer and more speed in offensive shots. If you're looking for an even lighter and faster racket, you might also consider the Oxdog Pure Court Light racket.

Oxdog Pure Series
With its hybrid head shape, the Pure series is a new initiative in Oxdog’s 2025 collection. The main idea behind the series is to offer the optimal blend of power, precision, and playability. The focus has also been on making the output from the hitting surface as consistent as possible, no matter where you strike the ball.
Technologies
Oxdog prides itself on being a leader in technology and has implemented several truly interesting features, all designed to help you perform at your best.
PowerRibs are placed at the top of the racket to give you more power without requiring additional effort. This technology, in combination with Oxdog's High Energy System™-carbon, transfers the power in your shot to a higher speed for the ball while reducing vibrations.
Racket Balance System (RBS) includes two removable weights that allow you to adjust the racket's weight and balance to fit your personal preferences. This gives you the option to reduce the racket's weight and make it more maneuverable.
Silent Speed ensures that the energy from your shot is transferred directly to the ball, resulting in significantly lower sound from the impact due to the HES-Carbon frame.
HES Carbon maximizes energy transfer for increased power and also contributes to extending the durability of the racket’s carbon fibers.
Double Size Hole Pattern (DSH) significantly improves ball contact. When you strike off-center, many top rackets suffer from poorer contact, but this technology enhances playability off-center while maximizing power.
Vibradamp reduces vibrations in the racket. The three-layer design of the racket reduces strain on your wrist, elbow, and shoulder. If you're looking to prevent injuries in these areas or are already dealing with them, Oxdog's padel rackets are a great option.
Side Ports feature air channels integrated into the heart of the racket for improved maneuverability and reduced air resistance.
The frame is made with Dural Moulding technology for added durability and performance.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket
1. Use a frame protector
Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.
3. Protect your racket during transport
Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket
1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style
Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.
2. Replace your overgrip regularly
Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.
3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right
Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
