RS Prime Pro Edition 2.0 2026 is a great fit if you want to play with an offensive direction, but still want a racket that helps you when you are pushed back in the court. The medium-high balance and head shape between teardrop and diamond give the racket a clear offensive profile, while the adaptive EVA core and Power Holes construction make the sweetspot more usable, even when you do not strike the ball perfectly cleanly.

The offensive profile does not mean the racket only makes sense in hard shots. At the net, where the racket needs to get into position quickly and where you often only have a brief moment to react, the construction also gives you strong value. The Dynamic Hex frame is developed to make the racket more manoeuvrable, so you can get it into place more easily in volley exchanges and small adjustments close to the net. That is an important detail in a 45.5 cm model with an extra-long grip.

The extended grip also makes the model especially relevant if you play with a two-handed backhand. You get more room for your hands without the racket losing the offensive direction that is a central part of the model.

In pressured situations, the Axis Force stabilizer in the bridge adds extra stability and fewer vibrations on ball impact. This gives you a calmer and more solid starting point when you need to maintain precision in defence or keep control of the ball in fast duels. Together with the racket's Black Mid EVA core and 12K aluminised carbon fibre hitting surface, it delivers a firm and direct response.

RS has also worked purposefully with the sweetspot in this model. The adaptive EVA core is developed to enlarge the sweetspot and better compensate for off-centre hits. This is supported by the Power Holes system, where the holes are positioned differently across the hitting surface to strengthen stability and expand the area where you get a clean and usable ball strike.

The surface is made with RS Grid Pattern, which gives extra grip on the ball and better opportunities for spin. This is relevant if you want to work more actively with ball rotation and put extra pressure on your opponent through the surface structure.

RS Prime Pro Edition 2.0 2026 is the 4th generation in the series. If you know the previous models, the balance sits slightly higher than in the red Prime Pro Edition and between Pro Edition Power and Prime Pro Edition. This places the racket in the offensive part of the series, without tipping all the way into the most pure power direction.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
