View full detailsDrop Shot has a strong focus on continuous development of their padel rackets so that they are always at the forefront of market developments. This focus has not gone unnoticed, as Drop Shot has been among the first on the market to introduce several groundbreaking technologies for, among other things, vibration damping and the use of the extra hard Textreme carbon. In fact, the World Padel Tour and Drop Shot have entered into a partnership called I + D, which stands for Innovation + Development.
Drop Shot's headquarters are located in Madrid, while their rackets are produced in the East at state-of-the-art production facilities. Here, for example, it is possible to inject the foam directly into the frame of the racket to provide the racket's hitting surface with as much uniformity as possible.
On a daily basis, 3 of the greatest men's players on the World Padel Tour play with Drop Shot rackets: These are the two living legends, Pablo Lima and Juan Martin Diaz, as well as the younger Lucas Campagnolo.
Pablo Lima is a Brazilian padel player born in 1986. He is one of the most winning padel players of all time and has been ranked number 1 in the world. Pablo Lima is known as "The Canyon of Porto Alegre", which is true of the Drop Shot Canyon padel racket he plays with. Throughout his impressive career, Lima has paired up with another legend, Fernando 'Bela' Belasteguin, who now has his own Bela series with Wilson. Other prominent partners of Pablo Lima include players such as Juani Mieres, Paquito Navarro, Alé Galan and Stupa.
Juan Martin Diaz is a living legend in padel. The Argentinian was born in 1975 and amazingly, he is still active on the World Padel Tour, where he gives the younger players a run for their money. Like Pablo Lima, Juan Martin Diaz has also paired up with Fernando 'Bela' Belasteguin - a partnership that lasted 14 years and put them at No.1 in the world rankings for many years. Together, the two stars won a staggering 170 out of 191 finals and are recognized as the best pair ever in the sport of padel. Today, Juan Martin Diaz lives in Madrid with his family.
Brazilian Lucas De Oliveira Campagnolo was born in 1995 and is considered one of the biggest padel stars of the great South American country. That Campagnolo is a gifted padel player was underlined when he and his 2022 partner Javi Garrido surprisingly defeated back-to-back world stars in a WPT tournament in Miami; on their way to the final they beat Lebron & Galan, Pablo Lima & Maxi Sanchez and Sanyo & Tapia.
