Claims

If you have bought an item that is faulty or defective, you can get an exchange. If the item is no longer in stock, you can exchange it for another item or get your money back.

Once you have discovered the fault, the claim must be made within a reasonable time and you should contact us as soon as possible. If it is a manufacturing defect, we will open a claim case and assess your case with the manufacturer.

Please note that a claim cannot be accepted if the product has been used incorrectly or if the damage has been caused by normal wear and tear.

Padel is a physically demanding sport and equipment such as rackets and shoes are subject to continuous wear. The rate at which equipment wears is individual, however, below are some general guidelines on wear and durability of padel rackets.

How long can I expect my padel racket to last?

How long a padel racket lasts is highly individual. It depends on the following factors, among others:

  • How often you play
  • The quality of the racket
  • How you store it (it does not benefit from either too high or too low temperatures)
  • How you treat it

If you play twice a week, a good quality padel racket will last about 9-12 months. If you play 4 times a week, it will last about 6 months.

Lower quality rackets often have a shorter durability.

My racket has been damaged. What can I do?

If the damage is caused by contact with the court including glass, grit, surface, net post or with another player's racket, shoe or body, the product warranty does not apply. Nor if the damage is caused by normal wear and tear.

Please note that damage occurring outside the racket's hitting area, such as on the edge of the frame, will often be caused by contact with another hard surface and will therefore not be eligible for a claim.

However, if the damage has occurred within the hitting area of the racket, this may be a manufacturing defect which we will assess in conjunction with the racket manufacturer. In addition to the damage to the racket, the general condition of the racket will also be taken into account.

What to do if you have a claim

Step 1

Take pictures of the product from all relevant angles. I.e. front, back and top and side of the frame of the racket, and take close ups of the fault.

Include your order number, full name, email and phone number and send to info@padellife.com. Write "Claim + your order no." in the subject field.

In all cases, Padellife must receive the returned item for the claim to be accepted.

Step 2

In cooperation with the manufacturer, we will review your claim as soon as possible and typically within 1 week of receipt. The processing time depends on  workload and whether the racket needs to be sent to the manufacturer for further inspection. This may extend the processing time. You will get notified by email when we have received your claimed product.
