K-Swiss Padel Shoes
K-Swiss produces padel and tennis shoes for women, men and juniors. In the K-Swiss range you will find shoes specifically developed for padel, for tennis and for both racket sports. Here, it is not least the soles of the shoes that distinguish them from each other. Thus, a K-Swiss shoe with a sole for clay court tennis is also perfect for padel courts where the sand is at the top of the court surface. If you prefer a sole that is suitable for different types of surfaces, you will be best served by an all-court sole.
Furthermore, K-Swiss produces shoes for different types of padel players, where parameters like fit, weight and how close you get to the surface differentiate the different models. Below we give you a brief overview of what distinguishes the different K-Swiss padel shoes from each other.
Different K-Swiss Padel Shoes
Whatever your gender and level of play, it's possible to find a solid padel shoe to match your needs in the K-Swiss range. Below we review the most popular K-Swiss padel shoes, and whether you're a men's or women's player, the model's features will apply.
Hypercourt Express
The K-Swiss Hypercourt Express range is extremely popular due to its great comfort, shock absorption and reasonably wide fit. The shoe's characteristics make it the preferred padel shoe for a wide range of players, and we at Padellife have received very good feedback from the solidly built player and people with heel spurs, among others, who have benefited from the Hypercourt Express shoes.
Incidentally, the shoe has the same level of shock absorption as the Express Light, but stronger in the toe area.
Express Light HB
Like its big brother, the Hypercourt Express, the Express Light HB offers good shock absorption and a wide fit. As the name suggests, the Express Light models are lighter than the Hypercourt Express. The Express Light is thus a little faster and not quite as solid as the Hypercourt Express, so it's a matter of taste which of the two top models you prefer for your padel.
Ultrashot
The K-Swiss Ultrashot range is designed to offer a slightly softer shoe, where you get closer to the court surface. The shoe has reinforcements on the inside and in the toe area to provide protection from 'drags' on the court. The sole of the Ultrashot also makes it suitable for courts where the sand is located below the court surface.
SpeedTrac
SpeedTrac is a further development of the Ultrashot shoe. It is particularly suited for tournament players who want a shoe with top performance and be reasonably close to the court surface. It is lightweight and has extra padding on the inside. The upper of the shoe is made with mesh nylon to make it as lightweight as possible, while like all K-Swiss shoes it has built-in stability at the bottom of the sole. Like the Ultrashot, the shoe's all-court sole is ideal for padel courts with sand lying beneath the surface.
Bigshot
The Bigshot shoe is a K-Swiss classic. It has a slightly narrower fit than the other versions and is suitable for new padel players who are looking for their first real padel shoe. It is also popular with many students who don't want to spend a fortune on shoes but still want something built for padel.
