The Babolat Air Veron 2024 is the perfect choice for the all-round player who wants a fast and comfortable racket. This is achieved through a neutral weight balance, a medium-high sweetspot and a low weight. This gives you the combination of maneuverability, power and control that has made the Air Veron series a bestseller.

Like last season's model, the Babolat Air Veron 2024 allows you to remove or replace the wrist strap as needed. To give you optimal feel, Babolat has implemented their 3D Spin technology in the surface of the racket and added extra texture for increased grip with the ball at the moment of impact. You will recognize many of the characteristics of the 2023 version, with the main difference in the 2024 racket being the improved quality of the carbon materials.

Compared to the Vertuo and Viper rackets, the Veron series lies between the two. This means that it is harder than Vertuo but softer than Viper. Where the Viper series has a pure carbon surface, the Veron rackets are produced with a mix of fiberglass and carbon to increase the tolerance and comfort of the rackets.

Technologies Applied in the Babolat Air Veron 2024

Holes Pattern System

Optimized placement and size of the holes based on the specific racket head shape to increase the power transmission and accuracy of the stroke.

Black EVA

The core is made of elastic foam for maximum power and comfort during the stroke.

Carbon Flex

The surface is made of two different materials to offer the best of both worlds: Massive power through carbon and easy generation of power through fiberglass. The goal is a flexible surface with a high power output.

3D Spin

The small textures in the surface combined with a rough finish contribute to improved control and grip of the ball.

Vibrasorb System

This technology covers a new elastomer material in graphite, which is integrated into the heart of the racket. The technology reduces the vibrations of the stroke and thus the risk of injury.

Smart Buttcap

New concept that allows you to adjust the size of the wrist strap or remove it completely.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
