Adidas Metalbone HRD+ 3.4 is the ultimate power racket for the technically skilled and offensive padel player who demands maximum precision and striking power. Designed in collaboration with Ale Galán, it features a diamond-shaped head, head-heavy balance, and an extremely stiff construction, making it a favorite among experienced players.
The Metalbone HRD+ 3.4 is constructed using Adidas' hardest carbon fibers and an EVA High Memory foam core. This combination ensures solid ball contact and exceptional power in your shots. As the hardest racket in Adidas' Metalbone series, it requires consistent and precise ball striking but rewards the player with unmatched control and power. The integrated Power Extra Grip and Power Groove features further enhance the racket's power and stability.
If you're considering a racket with the same specifications but softer foam, you can opt for the Adidas Metalbone 3.4.
Technologies in Adidas Metalbone HRD+ 3.4
EVA High Memory
This is Adidas' EVA foam with the highest density, offering greater power in high-speed shots. It is ideal for players with a high technical level. Adidas rackets with this type of foam are marked with a red bottom cap.
Carbon Aluminized 16K
The surface is made from aluminized carbon, ensuring a high level of stiffness and durability for maximum power. This results in harder output and improved touch on the ball.
Power Groove
A reinforced rib in the racket's frame profile increases structural stiffness and improves striking power.
Power Extra Grip
The extended handle increases inertia and power in your shots.
Octagonal Structure
Small carbon tubes in the racket are designed in an octagonal format, making the Metalbone series stiffer than other rackets. This construction rewards aggressive players who consistently strike the ball well.
Spin Blade
Adidas incorporates its Spin Blade technology into the Metalbone series, featuring a textured surface structure that enhances control and allows for greater spin on the ball.
Smart Holes Curve
Strategically placed holes optimize the sweet spot and ball grip.
Structural Reinforcement
The racket's head is reinforced all around, increasing durability and resistance to the stresses and torsion the materials are subjected to.
Weight & Balance System
Adidas' innovative weight system includes six small screws with a total weight of 12 grams. You can reposition (or remove) these screws to adjust the racket's balance to suit your preferences. With the screws in place, the weight balance is medium to low, offering more control. Removing the screws makes the racket lighter and shifts the balance upward by 1.5 cm, providing more striking power.
Low Poly
Low Poly is Adidas' unique polyhedral design for the racket's frame and core, which increases stiffness and power.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket
Use a frame protector
Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.
Transport your racket safely
Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.
3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket
Choose the right racket for your level and style
Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.
Replace your overgrip regularly
Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.
Upgrade your racket when needed
Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
