Babolat Technical Veron 3.0 is created for you if you play offensive padel with a clear focus on power, without giving up comfort. With the 2026 update, Babolat has fine-tuned the racket to feel more controlled and more arm-friendly than before, while still preserving its characteristic power.
Racket construction
The diamond-shaped head combined with a head-heavy balance continues to deliver plenty of power in overhead shots. Compared to previous seasons, Babolat has slightly adjusted the racket’s shape, making the sweetspot a bit larger and moving it slightly lower in the racket. This provides improved control in the build-up phases of play. At the same time, the weight has been reduced to 360 grams, making the racket easier to handle without sacrificing stability in offensive situations.
The Carbon Flex construction combined with a Black EVA core delivers a medium-firm response, giving you clear power in your shots along with a more forgiving and comfortable ball contact than in the Viper series. The updated central stabiliser in the bridge also helps dampen vibrations more effectively than before, making the Technical Veron 3.0 gentler on both elbow and shoulder.
Technical Veron 3.0 vs Technical Viper 3.0 and Technical Viper Soft 3.0
With its Carbon Flex construction, the Veron 3.0 is the softest racket in the Technical 3.0 series. You get a more comfortable and easier-to-handle racket than the Viper models, making the Technical Veron 3.0 an excellent choice for advanced players who want to combine power with manoeuvrability and comfort.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket
1. Use a frame protector
Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.
3. Protect your racket during transport
Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket
1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style
Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.
2. Replace your overgrip regularly
Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.
3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right
Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
