The Cork Classic is a lightweight and comfortable control racket with a large sweet spot. With a weight as low as 338 grams and a medium balance, you get an extremely maneuverable racket that is easy to get into position for the next shot. If you like a racket with a soft feel in the hit, the Cork Classic with its soft to medium hardness is an obvious choice. It gives you a large hitting area where you get good contact with the ball over a large area of the racket's face. If you suffer from elbow or shoulder strain, the bat is produced with Cork's anti-vibration technologies, which significantly reduces the pressure on your arm.

Compared to Cork Premium Control II, Cork Classic is 20 grams lighter. This makes the Classic model slightly more maneuverable and easy to get into position for the next shot when you need to react quickly.

Cork's rackets include an attached Pro Cork Grip (undergrip) and frame protector from the start. Add your favorite overgrip and you're ready for battle with a unique padel racket.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
