Head Padel Pro is the best-selling padel ball in the world. As the ball sponsor of the World Padel Tour, Head has gained wide recognition as the most used ball for tournament padel. The quality is top and the ball is available in this "Pro" version, which is slightly slower than its brother "Head Padel Pro S".
Our recommendation is to use this ball in hot and very fast conditions (e.g. old artificial grass courts with sand on top). If you play in cold or slow conditions, you should choose the "Pro S" (e.g. on mondo courts or outdoor padel in autumn or winter).

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel balls

1. Only open the tube when you are ready to use the balls

Do not open the ball tube until you are ready to step onto the court. Padel balls are pressurised when packaged, and once you open the tube, the pressure starts to drop immediately. This means the balls begin to lose their performance from the very first opening.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Do not store the balls in very hot or very cold conditions. Extreme temperatures affect both the pressure and the material of the balls, which shortens their lifespan. To keep them in the best possible condition, they should be stored at room temperature.

3. Extend the life of your balls with a pressuriser

Consider investing in a pressuriser for your padel balls. It helps maintain or restore the pressure in the balls, so they last longer, even after repeated use. At the same time, you save money by not having to buy new balls every time you play, which is also better for the environment.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel balls

1. Choose the right type of ball

There are different types of padel balls designed for different levels and playing conditions. The most common are standard balls with normal speed and faster balls, often labelled "Speed". Choose balls that match your needs. For example, slower balls for fast conditions or faster balls for cold or slow conditions.

2. Make sure the balls have the correct pressure

Only use balls that are in good condition and have the right pressure. Flat or worn balls change the dynamics of the game and make it noticeably harder to play. If the balls no longer bounce properly, it is time to replace them.

3. Use all the balls evenly

When you open a new tube of balls, make sure to rotate them evenly. This helps them wear at the same rate, giving you the best and most consistent playing experience.
