Head Revolt Pro 5.0 Clay Women are the shoes for you if you want stability, durability and comfort. This updated version features a construction with a more curved shape than previous generations, resulting in a more natural and dynamic movement noted on court. The combination of advanced materials and thoroughly tested technologies makes the shoe particularly suitable for both padel and tennis on clay courts.

The upper is made from moulded PU, providing an optimal balance between flexibility and durability. In exposed zones, the material is reinforced for added protection during sliding and lateral movements, while other areas are made lighter to reduce overall weight. An additional PU element protects the laces at the top eyelet and helps extend the lifespan of the shoe.

In the midsole, three 3D-moulded TPU elements work together with CORE-CONTROL technology to stabilise the foot from the midfoot towards the outer forefoot. At the same time, a TPU reinforcement in the heel adds extra stability and protection when you slide into your shots.

Comfort is significantly enhanced through a three-part EVA construction. DynaFoam in the heel delivers effective shock absorption, while a more responsive EVA in the forefoot provides quick reactions during push-offs. A softer EVA zone around the midfoot and big toe increases comfort, especially during long rallies.

The outsole is designed with a herringbone pattern. This ensures reliable grip, controlled sliding and high durability, whether you are playing clay court tennis or padel.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel shoes

1. Let your shoes dry completely after use

Let your shoes dry naturally after use, and remove the insoles if possible. Avoid placing your shoes in direct sunlight or on a radiator, as this can reduce the durability of the materials. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid leaving them in a closed sports bag for long periods, as moisture and heat can damage the materials and cause unpleasant odours.

2. Clean your shoes regularly

Remove dust and dirt after use by wiping your shoes with a damp cloth. You can also use a soft brush on the soles to remove sand and dirt, which would otherwise wear down the materials.

3. Only use your shoes for padel

Avoid wearing your shoes as everyday footwear or for other sports. The soles are designed for a specific surface, and using them on asphalt or other hard surfaces can significantly shorten their lifespan. Check the tread pattern and heel regularly. If they are worn down, the shoes lose grip and cushioning, which increases the risk of injury.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel shoes

1. Choose a shoe that suits the court surface

Padel courts vary in how much sand there is on the surface. The general condition of the court and the level of wear can also differ. These factors affect what you need from your footwear, so make sure to choose a shoe that matches the demands of the court. The right shoe helps you move better on court and gives you lasting comfort.

2. Play in high-quality socks

Invest in sports socks designed for padel. Good socks reduce friction, provide extra support and help keep your feet dry during play.

3. Extra cushioning? Consider insoles

If you play a lot, or simply want to reduce the risk of injury, consider upgrading your shoes with a good pair of insoles. They provide extra cushioning in the heel and reduce strain on your ankles, knees and back.
