Head Speed One 2025 is a lightweight and durable padel racket with a unique design featuring just a single hole in the surface. The racket is an evolution of the Head Extreme One racket from 2023, which surprised the padel world with its innovative design. This design has been further developed in the Head Speed One 2025, which is made for the advanced all-around player. The drop-shaped head and neutral balance provide a great mix of control and power, while the weight of only 345 grams is ideal for fast rallies.

Compared to the Head Speed One X, which is 20 grams heavier, the Head Speed One offers incredible speed and maneuverability.

Technologies in Head Speed One 2025

Auxetic 2.0
The racket is made with auxetic materials that expand when stretched and subjected to pressure. Auxetic technology is implemented in both the frame and the handle to provide an enhanced touch with the ball at the moment of impact.

Power Foam
The foam in the racket’s core is Head’s so-called 'Power Foam,' which ensures efficient power transfer between the racket and the ball during your shots for extra power.

Extreme Spin
The racket’s surface has a rough 3D structure that maximizes spin and grip on the ball.

2D Carbon HS
The 2D carbon fibers in the surface provide the racket with extra stiffness and strength. This special carbon fiber material is ideal for adding control and explosive power to your shots.

Smart Bridge
The bridge of the racket has been specifically designed to support the racket’s features and give you the maximum benefit from each shot.

Tailored Frame
The frame construction is made of small tube sections, each individually designed to give the racket the best possible performance.

Soft Butt Cap 2.0
This technology features a soft, shock-absorbing rubber placed at the bottom of the handle. The improved version of the technology reduces vibrations up through the grip and protects your arm.

Graphene Inside
Graphene is the material in the frame that ensures stability and strength in the racket. It also optimizes energy transfer during your shots.

Anti Shock Skin Padel
Anti Shock Skin Padel is a special polymer film that increases the racket’s durability and protects it from impacts and scratches.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
