Head Speed Pro 2025 is a drop-shaped padel racket, which is the successor to the bestselling Head Speed Pro 2023. With the Head Speed Pro 2025, you get a top-quality racket with excellent all-around properties, weighted towards power and touch. The core foam is Head's Power Foam, carried over from the 2023 version, while the surface has been made slightly softer in the 2025 version to enhance comfort. Additionally, the balance point of the racket has been slightly lowered, making it shift from head-heavy to a position between neutral and head-heavy.

As a new feature, Head has implemented their Damp Plus technology to reduce vibrations around the racket's core and handle. Furthermore, the racket's butt cap has been improved with a shock-absorbing rubber layer in the shaft, further protecting your arm and making the racket more comfortable to hold.

Head Speed Pro 2025 is an excellent choice for those looking for a padel racket with the perfect mix of control and power, but with that extra bite in your offensive shots. If you liked the crisp output of the Head Speed Pro 2023, you might consider the Head Speed One X 2025 racket, which has a firmer surface than the Speed Pro 2025.

Technologies in Head Speed Pro 2025

Auxetic 2.0
The racket is made with auxetic materials that expand when stretched and exposed to pressure. Auxetic technology is implemented in both the frame and the handle to provide an enhanced touch with the ball at the moment of impact.

Power Foam
The foam in the racket’s core is Head’s so-called 'Power Foam,' which ensures efficient power transfer between the racket and the ball during your shots for extra power.

Optimized Sweetspot
The holes in the racket are adjusted to optimize the sweet spot.

Smart Bridge
The bridge of the racket has been specifically designed to support the racket’s features and give you the maximum benefit from each shot.

Tailored Frame
The frame construction is made of small tube sections, each individually designed to improve the overall performance of the racket.

Soft Butt Cap 2.0
This technology involves a soft, shock-absorbing rubber implemented at the bottom of the shaft. The improved version of the technology reduces vibrations up through the grip and protects your arm.

Damp Plus
Damp Plus technology is strategically placed in the racket's core, where it reduces vibrations from the striking surface down to the grip, providing extra comfort.

Graphene Inside
Graphene is the material used in the frame that ensures stability and strength in the racket. It also optimizes energy transfer during the shot.

Anti Shock Skin Padel
Anti Shock Skin Padel is a special polymer film that increases the racket's durability and protects it from impacts and scratches.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
