The Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2 CC is the perfect choice for male players who prefer a shoe with weight and stability over ultra-light models.
The main advantages of the Wave Enforce Tour 2 CC are its outstanding cushioning and lateral stability. If you have a history of injuries or a body type that requires extra protection for vulnerable areas such as knees and back, this shoe is an excellent option.
Compared to the first version, the 2nd edition is 5 grams lighter. The shoe opening has been updated with Dyna-Heel Lock Lite, making it both lighter and more comfortable. In addition, the fit around the ankle and heel as well as the overall stability have been further improved – especially benefiting sideways movements.
Mizuno Enerzy Nxt, placed in the heel and forefoot, provides high energy return to support translational movements. The design absorbs shock from the ground and allows for a smooth weight transfer from heel to toe. A flat sole combined with an outrigger widens the base of the shoe to support powerful rotational movements, while the CPU upper material enhances grip and stability. For added durability, the high-wear inner forefoot area is reinforced with layers of strong rubber.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel shoes
1. Let your shoes dry completely after use
Let your shoes dry naturally after use, and remove the insoles if possible. Avoid placing your shoes in direct sunlight or on a radiator, as this can reduce the durability of the materials. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid leaving them in a closed sports bag for long periods, as moisture and heat can damage the materials and cause unpleasant odours.
2. Clean your shoes regularly
Remove dust and dirt after use by wiping your shoes with a damp cloth. You can also use a soft brush on the soles to remove sand and dirt, which would otherwise wear down the materials.
3. Only use your shoes for padel
Avoid wearing your shoes as everyday footwear or for other sports. The soles are designed for a specific surface, and using them on asphalt or other hard surfaces can significantly shorten their lifespan. Check the tread pattern and heel regularly. If they are worn down, the shoes lose grip and cushioning, which increases the risk of injury.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel shoes
1. Choose a shoe that suits the court surface
Padel courts vary in how much sand there is on the surface. The general condition of the court and the level of wear can also differ. These factors affect what you need from your footwear, so make sure to choose a shoe that matches the demands of the court. The right shoe helps you move better on court and gives you lasting comfort.
2. Play in high-quality socks
Invest in sports socks designed for padel. Good socks reduce friction, provide extra support and help keep your feet dry during play.
3. Extra cushioning? Consider insoles
If you play a lot, or simply want to reduce the risk of injury, consider upgrading your shoes with a good pair of insoles. They provide extra cushioning in the heel and reduce strain on your ankles, knees and back.
