The Nox AT10 Genius 18K is a popular racket developed in collaboration with world-class player Augustin Tapia.
Compared to previous models, this version has been equipped with 18k carbon, which makes the racket stiffer, more durable and grips the ball slightly better. The racket has a teardrop-shaped head, which means really good all-round playing abilities. The headlight balance secures good control, and combined with 18k carbon and a rough surface, you get a racket with sublime touch.
When the carbon fibres are woven so relatively tightly (18k), the racket becomes harder on the surface and the sweetspot is correspondingly smaller. To reduce vibration in the stroke, Nox has added their anti-vibration system to reduce risk of arm and elbow overload.
Nox has also included their Smartstrap solution, which is a replaceable strap. This is partly to allow you to improve hygiene and partly to improve the safety of the strap, as over time it becomes worn and at risk of bursting.
All in all, an absolutely top-class padel racket for experienced players who do not want to compromise on quality and design.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket
1. Use a frame protector
Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.
3. Protect your racket during transport
Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket
1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style
Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.
2. Replace your overgrip regularly
Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.
3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right
Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
