RS Prime Team Edition 2.0 2026 is for you if you want a forgiving padel racket with a versatile combination of control and power. The neutral balance and 360-370 gram weight give the racket substance in both defence and attack without making it heavy to handle.
The head shape is a combination of teardrop and diamond. This gives the racket an offensive profile, while the soft construction makes the model relevant for both recreational and tournament players who want a racket with comfort and stability.
The hitting surface consists of three layers of Japanese fibreglass, while the core is made from Black Soft EVA. That combination gives a soft response and helps you when the ball is not struck completely cleanly in the sweetspot. This makes Prime Team Edition 2.0 an obvious choice if you want a racket that is easier to play with than the stiffer models in the series.
The frame is the same as on Prime Pro Edition 2.0. The Dynamic Hex profile helps you get the racket quickly into position, while the Axis Force stabilizer in the bridge increases stability and reduces vibrations on ball contact. It gives a calm feel in the shot, especially in fast exchanges.
The Power Holes system enlarges the sweetspot and strengthens stability in the hitting surface. The surface has a matte finish and is made to provide grip on the ball and spin.
Prime Team Edition 2.0 is also available in a lighter version, Prime Team Light Edition 2.0, if you want lower weight.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket
1. Use a frame protector
Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.
3. Protect your racket during transport
Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket
1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style
Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.
2. Replace your overgrip regularly
Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.
3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right
Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
