With the Adidas Adipower W Team you get a great control racket with a low weight and a forgiving and comfortable frame construction.

The racket's foam and surface are made of soft materials that give you good tolerance and response in your game. A low weight and round headshape make it perfect for the right-side player with a good touch and quick reactions.

Using the latest technologies such as Dual eXoskeleton and Structural Reinforcement, the racket's frame is simultaneously reinforced in strategically selected places and the material is made extra resistant to the stress it is exposed to during play.

Compared to the Adipower CTRL Team version, the Adipower W Team weighs approximately 15 grams less, giving you greater racket manoeuvrability and speed. On the other hand, with the Adipower CTRL Team you get more stability and weight transfer in the strokes thanks to the 15 grams more weight.

Weight: 345-360 grams

Technologies Applied in Adidas Adipower W Team

EVA Soft Performance

The racket's core is made of low density EVA rubber to give you response and high comfort. This is the softest of the three types of foam that Adidas works with in their top rackets. Adidas' rackets produced with this type of rubber is marked with a black cap.

Fibre Glass

Adidas operates with 6 different types of fibres, each type having different properties that influence the power and control ratio of the racket. This racket is made with fiberglass in the surface, which is Adidas' most flexible fiber. This provides you with a forgiving and comfortable contact with the ball in your strokes. This is also the most gentle surface for those who struggle with elbow and shoulder strain injuries.

Dual eXoskeleton

This technology characterises the Adipower series, where the heart of the racket is reinforced, so you get maximum transfer of energy in each shot.

Power Embossed Ridge

The outside of the frame is reinforced with carbon nerves for greater stiffness. The aim is to give the aggressive player more power.

Spin Blade

In the Adipower series, Adidas uses their Spin Blade Mold technology, which is a surface structure that enables you to put more spin into the ball.

Smart Holes Curve

A strategic placement of the racket's hole pattern that optimizes sweetspot and grip of the ball.

Structural Reinforcement

The entire racket head has been reinforced to make it even more durable and resistant to the stress and torsion that the material is exposed to.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
