Are you looking for a control racket that allows maneuverability and the ability to play with power when the opportunity arises?

Look no further, because the Cross It CTRL is just what you need!

The round head shape places the sweet spot in the center of the racket.

The racket comes with a weight of 360-375 grams and neutral balance.

For the first time ever, Adidas is now making a padel racket with a long handle. It has been requested by many players and now it's finally here!

In the surface, which is made with 15K Aluminized Carbon, Adidas has chosen to use Spin Blade Mould. This is a particularly rough surface that boosts the spin generated in the ball.

The core of the racket is made with EVA High Memory, which is Adidas' hardest foam. This provides a firm hit on the ball and increases control in the racket. The rigid construction also makes the racket suitable for advanced players and above.

To increase maneuverability, the Cross It series has incorporated the new Dynamic Air Flow technology in the bridge. This lowers air resistance and makes the swing speed even faster.

All in all, a complete control racket from Adidas in the brand new Cross It series, which is characterized by a beautiful finish, long handle and super manoeuvrability.

Technologies in the Adidas Cross It CTRL

EVA High Memory

The core of the racket is made of high memory EVA foam to give you extra power in your strokes. This is the hardest of the three types of foam that Adidas uses in their top rackets. Adidas' bats with this foam are marked with a red bottom plug.

Carbon Aluminized 15K

Adidas uses 8 different types of fibers, with each type having different properties that influence the power and control of the racket. This bat is made with one of the highest densities of carbon fibers, giving you less flexibility and more power.

Spin Blade Mold

In the Adipower series, Adidas uses their Spin Blade Mold technology, which is a surface structure that enables you to put more spin on the ball.

Dynamic Air Flow

Dynamic Air Flow technology facilitates increased air flow in the area around the heart of the racket, which increases swing speed.

Power Extra Grip

The shaft of the racket is extended compared to the Metalbone and Adipower series. This means that the balance of the racket is moved further up in the head, giving more power in the stroke.

Eleven 13

The size of the holes in the center of the racket has been reduced for more stiffness and durability.

Structural Reinforcement

The head of the racket is reinforced all around to make it even more durable and resistant to the stress and torsion that the material is subjected to.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket

1. Use a frame protector

Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

2. Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.

3. Protect your racket during transport

Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.

3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket

1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style

Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.

2. Replace your overgrip regularly

Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.

3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right

Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
