The Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light is the latest addition to the Oxdog range. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light, like its siblings in the Ultimate series, is a power bat with a head-heavy balance and a stiff frame and surface as well as medium-hard foam. However, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light differentiates itself by being an average of 15 grams lighter than its direct comparison, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro, so you can expect a more maneuverable racket. In addition, this would also be a very useable racket to choose if you want a power bat but have elbow or shoulder problems. The racket will be more gentle on the shoulder than many other power rackets.

The surface has 3D spin in the surface, which helps to ensure better impact and grip on the ball.

Ultimate Series

Ultimate is Oxdog's power series, where an innovative diamond shape gives you plenty of power in your game. The series is designed for the offensive player who loves to put the opponent under pressure and seize the initiative in the rallies.

Technologies

Oxdog prides itself on being at the forefront of technology and has managed to implement some really interesting features that are all focused on helping you perform at your best.

PowerRibs

At the top of the bat, Oxdog has placed their PowerRibs, which gives you more power without you having to use more effort. The technology means that the PowerRibs™ in combination with Oxdog's High Energy System™ carbon transfers the power of your shot at a higher speed to the ball.

RBS - Racket Balance System

Oxdog's Racket Balance System (RBS) includes two removable weights that allow you to change the weight and balance of the racket to suit your personal preferences. For example, this gives you the option to reduce the weight of the racket and make it even more maneuverable.

DSH - Double Size Hole Pattern (Double Size Hole Pattern)

The Double Size Hole Pattern gives you significantly improved contact with the ball. When hitting outside the sweetspot, many topspin bats penalize you with less contact, but this technology improves playability outside the sweetspot while maximizing your power.

Vibradamp

In addition to better contact with the ball outside the sweetspot, Oxdog's Vibradamp system ensures less vibration in the bat. Vibradamp means that the bat is built with a three-layer design that reduces the strain on your wrist, elbow and shoulder. If you want to prevent injuries in these areas or are already struggling with them, Oxdog's padel racket is a great option.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
