Drax is a brand new teardrop-shaped series from Starvie that optimizes the game and provides an excellent distribution of control and power. The racket falls into the all-round category where many players will find it rather suitable for them.

The racket has the well-known Soft-30 foam and 12K carbon in the face, which provides great flexibility and comfort on the court. The frame features Starvie's strong 3K carbon construction. The Drax racket with Soft-30 foam is perfect for players with an intermediate level who play an offensive but also tactical game.

The surface is rough with texture for extra bite in the ball.

The teardrop shape places the sweetspot medium-high in the racket, which automatically creates a bit more racket speed than if the sweetspot is placed centrally in the racket.

Weight: 355-375 grams.

Handmade in Guadalajara, Mexico.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
