View full detailsAs a natural extension of their already well-assorted range, Babolat has presented a dedicated series of padel rackets for women: Dyna and Stima. Thus, Babolat expands their range of women's padel rackets from Revenge Woman and Defiance Woman to now include even more options. If you are looking for the best women's padel racket, Babolat offers some highly attractive models.
Like various padel centers, Babolat is experiencing a significant increase in the number of female padel players, and therefore, according to the brand itself, it is only natural to develop a range of padel rackets designed for the female athlete's lifestyle and values, where the joy of padel goes hand in hand with fitness, team spirit and inclusion.
Padel rackets for female padel players differ from the unisex rackets by being lighter and also often having a thinner frame and handle. You still see plenty of girls playing with the same paddle bats as the men, but more and more female players prefer the speed that the lighter women's rackets offer, and the thinner handles also appeal to many.
In addition to the greater maneuverability of a lighter racket and a thinner grip, we also see more padel girls looking for padel rackets that are as gentle as possible on the wrist. Here it can be advantageous to go with one of Babolat's women's rackets due to the weight of about 335 grams and, on some models, a head-light weight balance. This reduces the strain on the wrist, which may be needed if you have previously played with a padel racket that is either too heavy or has been head-heavy balanced. A head-heavy balance can make the racket slower to react in the volleyball game, which is why some women's players and also some men consider the lightweight women's versions as the best paddle racket for them. Thus, a women's paddle racket can also have an injury prevention effect, as it can reduce the stress on the wrist and impact arm.
With the Dyna and Stima rackets, Babolat has taken the development of padel rackets for women to the next level. With the new series, Babolat customizes the women's rackets to different playing styles, so whether you want a women's padel racket with control or more power, the Dyna or Stima rackets will meet your needs. Below we dive into what sets Babolat's women's rackets apart from the unisex models.
Where the weight of a standard unisex padel racket is around 365 grams, Babolat has reduced the weight of their women's rackets by 30-40 grams, so they come down to around 330 grams. The reduction in weight makes it easier to maneuver the racket and it also reduces the strain on the wrist and arm.
The frame of the women's racket is also slightly narrower compared to the standard unisex racket. The narrower frame contributes partly to the reduction of the overall weight of the racket and partly to the easier handling of the bat, making it quicker to get into position for volleys, for example.
At the same time, the handle on the rackets is adapted to the female hand and is thus slightly thinner than the unisex bats. If the shaft of the racket becomes too thick to hold, you lose some control and feeling with the racket, which is why several women's players prefer paddle rackets with a thinner handle than the one the men play with.
In their women's collection, Babolat has of course also given serious consideration to the design. The color palette of the women's rackets is thus kept in light colors, where pink, violet, light blue and white are consistent on the black background color of the rackets.
Finally, Babolat's top series of women's padel rackets are made with Micro Perf technology, which involves small perforations in the surface of the racket. These help to reduce the weight of the racket and enlarge the sweet spot. The larger sweet spot ensures good contact with the ball over a larger area of the racket's hitting surface.
