Wave Exceed Tour 6 CC (Mugen Blue/White/Dress Blues) is a top shoe from Mizuno with a focus on combining low weight with great freedom of movement and quick turns. It is also designed to give you momentum and propulsion when you take off.
Like the previous editions of the Exceed Tour series, the shoe has a strong heel cup and a stiff sole, giving you excellent stability. Mizuno's Dyna-Eyelet Wrap technology provides the shoe with a snug fit that wraps the foot and gives you a comfortable feeling on the court. The outsole is constructed with the familiar herringbone pattern from clay court tennis, which provides extra grip on the court surface and prevents slipping.
If you are looking for a lightweight top shoe of the highest quality that supports you in take-offs and turns, the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 6 CC is an obvious choice as your next shoe.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel shoes
1. Let your shoes dry completely after use
Let your shoes dry naturally after use, and remove the insoles if possible. Avoid placing your shoes in direct sunlight or on a radiator, as this can reduce the durability of the materials. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid leaving them in a closed sports bag for long periods, as moisture and heat can damage the materials and cause unpleasant odours.
2. Clean your shoes regularly
Remove dust and dirt after use by wiping your shoes with a damp cloth. You can also use a soft brush on the soles to remove sand and dirt, which would otherwise wear down the materials.
3. Only use your shoes for padel
Avoid wearing your shoes as everyday footwear or for other sports. The soles are designed for a specific surface, and using them on asphalt or other hard surfaces can significantly shorten their lifespan. Check the tread pattern and heel regularly. If they are worn down, the shoes lose grip and cushioning, which increases the risk of injury.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel shoes
1. Choose a shoe that suits the court surface
Padel courts vary in how much sand there is on the surface. The general condition of the court and the level of wear can also differ. These factors affect what you need from your footwear, so make sure to choose a shoe that matches the demands of the court. The right shoe helps you move better on court and gives you lasting comfort.
2. Play in high-quality socks
Invest in sports socks designed for padel. Good socks reduce friction, provide extra support and help keep your feet dry during play.
3. Extra cushioning? Consider insoles
If you play a lot, or simply want to reduce the risk of injury, consider upgrading your shoes with a good pair of insoles. They provide extra cushioning in the heel and reduce strain on your ankles, knees and back.
