The Vertuo series are the softest rackets in Babolat's Performance racket range. The series above Vertuo are "Veron" and "Viper", both of which are slightly harder in the core and has more carbon in the hitting-surface. 

The Air series is common name for the teardrop-shaped performance rackets of Babolat and is characterized by a unique head-light balance and a medium-high sweetspot. The Babolat Air Vertuo is for those who want a mix of power and control without the racket being too difficult to master. Designed in soft materials, this racket has a reduced weight with head-light balance that allows you to easily gain momentum and hit an unexpected winner from most spots on the court. As a result of this construction the racket is very arm-friendly and is a good choice if you struggle with elbow/arm pain.  As on the other performance rackets from Babolat, the Vertuo series also has an extended grip handle, which is to make room for both hands if you like to play two-handed backhand.
