Gravity Pro Nordic Edition 2024 is a control racket with a round head shape and a head light balance. It is a limited edition padel racket developed in collaboration with Sweden's most successful player, Daniel Windahl. The racket is based on the upcoming Head Gravity Pro racket, which will be released in fall 2024.
Compared to Gravity Pro, Windahl's new Gravity Pro Nordic Edition is 5 grams lighter and more head light for increased maneuverability and control. In addition, the foam in the core is produced by Heads Control Foam, which increases the sweet spot and offers you even better precision in strokes like bandeja or chiquita.
Another significant innovation is the surface, which has a new rough, sandpaper-like coating. This increases grip in the ball and allows for more spin. The surface itself is made from a mix of carbon and fiberglass to combine the best of both worlds.

3 tips to extend the lifespan of your padel racket
1. Use a frame protector
Fit a frame protector to your racket to minimise damage from contact with the court glass or metal mesh. It is a simple addition that may not look like much, but it can help extend the life of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.
2. Avoid extreme temperatures
Store your racket at a stable room temperature. Over time, both very high and very low temperatures can weaken the foam in the racket core and reduce performance. Avoid leaving your racket in places such as a cold car boot or close to a hot radiator.
3. Protect your racket during transport
Keep your racket in a bag or cover to protect it from scratches, dirt and knocks. This is especially important during transport or storage between matches, as proper storage helps reduce wear and tear.
3 tips to get the most out of your padel racket
1. Choose the right racket for your level and playing style
Choose a racket that matches your level and playing style. New players may benefit from a racket with a softer face and a large sweetspot, while more experienced players often prefer a stiffer construction with more emphasis on precision or power.
2. Replace your overgrip regularly
Replacing your overgrip regularly helps maintain a fresh grip and improves comfort and control. A worn grip can cause the racket to slip in your hand and put extra strain on your wrist and forearm during play.
3. Upgrade your racket when the time is right
Over time, the foam in the racket core loses its elasticity and performance. This means you will no longer get the same response from your shots. If you have been using the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in its performance, it is a sign that it is time to invest in a new one.
