The Varlion Bourne Summum Carbon Black is a power racket with a generous sweetspot, ideal for the player who decides the rallies with hard overheads. If you're dreaming of a big smash or maybe already have it, here's the racket to do just that!

The racket's headshape is a hybrid between diamond and teardrop, and despite the powerful characteristics, you actually get good control in the racket at the same time due to a double layer of fiberglass in the surface, which softens the racket a bit and thus expands the sweetspot. Varlion's rough surface gives you more "bite" in the strokes, which is especially noticeable in volleys and bandejas/viboras.

The balance of the racket is high, which gives weight and speed in the strokes. The shaft is extended to allow for a possible 2-handed backhand in those pressured situations.
