Varlion Maxima Summum Prisma W is a special edition produced for the Danish Padel Open; the first ever WPT tournament on Danish soil, held in 2022 in Hillerød at an impressive event.
Produced in a limited edition of just 500 pieces, it is the successor to the popular Varlion Maxima Summum Prisma W of the same name, however, the DPO 2022 edition has been upgraded in a new, exclusive design.
As for the racket's playability, you get excellent control and touch. The racket's head shape is a hybrid between round and teardrop, which is what the "Maxima" in the racket's name covers. The racket has a large sweetspot, which is supported by the Gradual Holes technique, where the holes have been drilled in different sizes.
The racket's Prisma frame ensures aerodynamics with up to 10% less drag, and the frame's contact area with the court walls is reduced by as much as 90%. The Prisma frame thus provides significantly better manoeuvrability and swing speed in your game.
The weight balance of the racket is even, and the racket's outer core is made of 12k carbon.
Weight: 345-370 grams
All in all, you get a top racket where above all you get a lot of touch and control, but where via the Maxima headshape, a relatively hard core and the even balance you can still put a good pressure on the ball on the attacking strokes.
