Diamond-shaped head, head-heavy balance and a hard core are the keywords for the Adidas Metalbone HRD+. This weapon in Adidas' Metalbone series for 2024 is aimed at experienced and offensive padel players.

The racket is the hardest racket in the Adidas range for 2024, meaning that both the surface and core are made from the hardest types (or highest level of density, if you will) of carbon fiber and EVA foam, respectively, that Adidas operates with. This places demands on technique and consistency in ball striking, but you're also rewarded with unrivaled bite and precision in your shots. If you are looking for a softer core, look towards Adidas Metalbone 3.3, which is produced with Soft Performance EVA foam.

Weight: 345-360 grams

For the technically sound and experienced player, the Adidas Metalbone HRD+ is a power racket that gives you a very crisp output and great precision. The racket was developed in collaboration with Spanish padel star Alé Galan and incorporates the latest technologies from Adidas.

Technologies Applied in Adidas Metalbone HRD+

EVA High Memory

The racket's core is made of high memory EVA rubber providing you with extra power due to its greater memory. This is the highest density of the three types of foam that Adidas works with in their top rackets. Adidas' rackets with this type of rubber is marked with a red cap.

Carbon Aluminized 2 to 1

Adidas operates with 8 different types of fibers, each type having different properties that influence the power and control ratio of the racket. This racket is made with "Carbon Aluminized 2 to 1", which is Adidas' least flexible fiber. This provides the greatest transfer of energy in the stroke and therefore the highest level of power.

Octagonal Structure

The small carbon tubes in the racket are designed in an octagonal format, making the construction of the Metalbone series stiffer than other rackets. The aim is to reward the aggressive player who continuously hits the ball well.

Spin Blade Decal

In the Metalbone series, Adidas use their Spin Blade Decal technology, which is an octagonal surface structure that enables you to add more spin to the ball and provides you with a feeling of additional control.

Smart Holes Curve

A strategic placement of the racket's hole pattern that optimizes sweetspot and grip of the ball.

Structural Reinforcement

The entire racket head has been reinforced to make it even more durable and resistant to the stress and torsion that the material is exposed to.

Weight & Balance System

Adidas' innovative weight & balance system with 6 small screws weighing a total of 12 grams, which you can reposition (or remove) to adjust the balance of the rakcet to perfectly suit your preferences. When the screws are in, the racket's weight balance is medium to low, giving it more control. If you remove the screws, the racket becomes lighter and the balance moves up to 1.5 cm providing additional power.
