The 2023 edition of the extremely popular Babolat Counter Veron is here! This bestseller model was known for its comfort and control without losing the ability to create power, and if you liked these characteristics, then you won't be disappointed with the Counter Veron 2023 version either!

The racket has a round head shape, a sweetspot placed centrally and is built in materials that give you a tolerant racket with good control. The weight distribution is somewhere between even and head heavy to give the defensive player optimal conditions to counter attack and turn defense into offense.

The surface is made of fibreglass and carbon, while the core is made of EVA foam, which on the one hand gives the racket the necessary touch and power, while on the other hand it does not get too hard. The wrist strap can be replaced or completely removed if needed.

Compared to the Vertuo and Viper rackets, the Veron series lies between the two. This means that it is harder than the Vertuo, but softer than the Viper. Where the Viper series has a pure carbon surface, the Veron rackets are produced with a blend of fibreglass and carbon to increase the tolerance and comfort of the rackets.

Weight: 365 grams

The control player, from the intermediate level up to the very experienced, will get with the Babolat Counter Veron 2023 a tolerant and comfortable padel racket, which can turn defensive into offensive through effective counter strokes.

Technologies Applied in the Babolat Counter Veron 2023

Holes Pattern System

Optimized placement and size of the holes based on the specific racket head shape to increase the power transmission and accuracy of the stroke.

Black EVA

The core is made of elastic foam for maximum power and comfort during the stroke.

Carbon Flex

The surface is made of two different materials to offer the best of both worlds: Massive power through carbon and easy generation of power through fiberglass. The goal is a flexible surface with a high power output.

3D Spin

The small textures in the surface combined with a rough finish contribute to improved control and grip of the ball.

Vibrasorb System

This technology covers a new elastomer material in graphite, which is integrated into the heart of the racket. The technology reduces the vibrations of the stroke and thus the risk of injury.

Smart Buttcap

New concept that allows you to adjust the size of the wrist strap or remove it completely.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
