Crowd favorite Marta Ortega has developed her very own line at Adidas - Cross It! This Light version is exactly the racket she uses in her professional career. The lightweight racket is characterized by manoeuvrability, control and comfort.

The round head shape places the sweet spot in the center of the racket, which provides excellent control.

The racket comes with a weight of 345-360 grams and neutral balance.

For the first time ever, Adidas now makes a paddle racket with a long handle. It has been requested by many players, and now it's finally here!

In the surface, which is made with 24K Aluminized Carbon, Adidas has chosen to use Spin Blade Mould. This is a particularly rough surface that boosts the spin generated in the ball.

The core of the racket is made with EVA Soft Energy, which is Adidas' medium-soft foam. This provides a soft touch on the ball and increases the comfort of the racket. The soft construction also makes the racket suitable for intermediate players and above.

To increase maneuverability, the Cross It series has incorporated the new Dynamic Air Flow technology in the bridge. This lowers air resistance and increases swing speed even more.

All in all, a complete control bat from Adidas in the brand new Cross It series, which is characterized by a beautiful finish, long handle and superb manoeuvrability.

Technologies in the Adidas Cross It Light

EVA High Memory

The core of the racket is made of high memory EVA foam to give you extra power in your strokes. This is the hardest of the three types of foam that Adidas uses in their top rackets. Adidas' bats with this foam are marked with a red bottom plug.

Carbon Aluminized 24K

Adidas uses 8 different types of fibers, with each type having different properties that influence the power and control of the racket. This racket is made with the second highest density of carbon fibers, providing you with less flexibility and additional power.

Spin Blade Mold

In the Adipower series, Adidas uses their Spin Blade Mold technology, which is a surface structure that enables you to put more spin on the ball.

Dynamic Air Flow

Dynamic Air Flow technology facilitates increased air flow in the area around the heart of the racket, which increases swing speed.

Power Extra Grip

The shaft of the racket is extended compared to the Metalbone and Adipower series. This means that the balance of the racket is moved further up in the head, giving more power in the stroke.

Eleven 13

The size of the holes in the center of the racket has been reduced for more stiffness and durability.

Structural Reinforcement

The head of the racket is reinforced all around to make it even more durable and resistant to the stress and torsion that the material is subjected to.

3 Tips on How to Extend the Lifespan of Your Padel Racket

Use a frame protector

Apply a frame protector to your racket to minimize damage from hits against the glass walls or the fence. This simple addition can significantly extend the lifespan of your racket by protecting it from knocks and scratches.

Avoid extreme temperatures

Store your racket in a room with stable temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or a cold garage, as extreme temperatures can weaken the materials and affect the racket’s performance over time.

Transport your racket safely

Always keep your racket in a bag or a cover to protect it from scratches, dirt, and knocks. This is especially important when traveling or storing the racket between games, as proper storage reduces wear and tear.

3 Tips on How to Get the Most Out of Your Padel Racket

Choose the right racket for your level and style

Pick a racket that suits your playing level and preferred style of play. Beginners might benefit from a racket with a larger sweetspot, while advanced players often prefer a more precise or powerful racket tailored to their game.

Replace your overgrip regularly

Changing the overgrip frequently keeps your racket feeling fresh and ensures a firm, comfortable grip. Worn-out grips can lead to slipping and strain on your hand during play.

Upgrade your racket when needed

Over time, the foam in the core of the racket loses its performance, resulting in reduced power and control. If you’ve used the same racket for several seasons or notice a drop in performance, consider investing in a new one to maintain your game at its best.
